The Total Wine and Spirits opened at the Market Place in Tustin. They claim to carry over 8000 different wines in their 20,000 sq ft superstore. According to Jan/Feb 08 issue of Beverages Dynamics, Total Wine and Spirits gave Costco and Target a "run for their money". It will be interesting to see the quality of wines at this new "SUPERSTORE". Sounds like it could be a little frightening if you ask me. If anyone has had a chance to check this out please let me know if its worth the trip from Huntington.

WineStyles in Seal Beach is having a tasting event this Thursday the 30th from 6-8pm and Saturday the 1st from 3-5pm.

$15/$10 for club members.

Not too sure of the details other than that, but they always put on a good show.

No RSVP is necessary.

I recently heard that Frogs Breath Cheese Store in Orange,CA has wine tastings Thursdays through Saturday. Has anyone participated in this? Thought I would check it out. I hear tell that they have an awesome selection of cheeses as well.

Yes! My mom has been down there a few times and I guess it is a really cool little set-up.
