Rancho Sisqouc was at Time In a Bottle in Redlands tonight. I've been to the winery but wasn't able to go to the event. Bummed I missed it. Did anyone go?

kaymudt, I missed the tasting last night too but have to say the Rancho Sisqouc property is beautiful! Pass on the word to all the wine lovers in your area to post the events as soon as they here about them.

Yea this event is a blast and it's huge. The city hosting is usally blowing up with winO's and wine dinners all week! Im pretty sure this is the last one this year out of the 7 total city stops. :(

The Tour was a blast! You're right - there's been all kinds of dinners this week and wineos coming out of the wood work.

Are there any other traveing events like this that anyone knows about??

Good Morning,

I just wanted to share with all interested that "The Art of Food and Wine" event in Palm Desert will be held November 6th - 9th. A friend of mine attended last year and couldn't say enough about it. I am really excited to go and check it out.

For more info - www.artoffoodandwine.com

Hope to see you there!

Here's an awesome idea! Recently I added my name to www.winewalk.net. This is something I would like to start in our city.

?Wine Walk adventures begin in the early evening as up to 40 persons gather at the first stop along the tour. They are presented with a tasting of many wines, along with some food paired especially for the event.

Shortly thereafter, the group takes a short walk to the next stop on the tour to repeat the process.

Over the course of three hours, wines and food from four different venues are sampled by the wine walkers.

Hey, how about this! I am thinking of checking it out - how about you?

World Of Wine Weekend

A Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association Event
March 14 & 15, 2009, 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM

(This event replaces the January Winter Barrel Tasting)

Explore a New World approach to Old World style.

Deeply rooted in the vineyards of the Temecula Valley, old world grape varietals come to life in new world style. Grapes indigenous to Spain, France, Italy and Germany offer abundant fruit from verdant vines right here in Southern California’s own wine country.

Whether you’re crazy for Cabernets, serious about Syrahs, zoom in on Zins or are stoked about Sparkling, there’s an award winning Temecula wine waiting for you. And we’ll be pairing them all with international food fare and festivities.

Come travel the World of Wine - without leaving Temecula!

Save $10 on tickets purchased ON or BEFORE 2/28/09 - available for $79 ($89 after 2/28). Includes two day pass, wine and food samples, entertainment and souvenir wine glass.

Hey Justin, where exactly is this event? Sounds interesting... Those Temecula wines can be a little scary in my opinion but it sounds like a good day trip anyway.
